Thomas Tuchel has become the first England manager to win his first three games without conceding, with a little help from Liverpool along the way.

His Three Lions beat Albania and Latvia comfortably, but they struggled to get past the Andorran defence with just a 1-0 victory, with Curtis Jones as a makeshift right-back.

The German manager was fuming and demanded more, especially since Andorra are placed 173rd in the FIFA world rankings.

FIFA's attention will be firmly on the Club World Cup, and Tuchel believes missing out could help the Reds, as well as Arsenal.

Liverpool and Arsenal have huge Premier League advantage

Tuchel believes that the Club World Cup will have a massive influence on who wins the Premier League.

Speaking via the print edition of the Daily Mail (10 June, pg62), he said: "It will give Liverpool and Arsenal a huge advantage not to be there."

Chelsea and Manchester City are the two teams representing England in the Club World Cup, amongst 32 of the world's most sucessful football teams.

"It will be a very nice experience for the players who play this tournament for the first time, so it's mixed feelings.

"I decided not to worry too much because why should I? No one knows what the effect will be."

The tournament in Miami will also host footballing giants, such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, while Arne Slot and his squad can rest again.

Liverpool need every bit of luck next season

Liverpool won the Premier League this season comfortably, with a 10-point gap to closest rivals Arsenal.

Next year may prove more challenging for Slot's team, as their title rivals have already brought in reinforcements, just as they have.

City are closing in on the triple signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri, Rayan Cherki, and Tijani Reijnders already, with Arsenal set to sign Martin Zubimendi.

Steven Gerrard believes that Aston Villa could be a surprise candidate for the title run-in, but that will be on the mind of nobody else around Anfield.

Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz are world-class players set to join the champions, adding to Jeremie Frimpong, with a warning already sent to those around them.

Liverpool are the early favourites to win the Premier League in 2025/2026, and these signings will give the Kopites a major confidence boost.
