Liverpool fans react to what Ben Doak did v West Brom – ‘perfect Salah replacement’
Liverpool supporters are convinced they have found the perfect Mohamed Salah replacement after what Ben Doak did on Tuesday.
The Scotland international scored a stunning goal as Middlesbrough beat West Brom 2-0 in the Championship (21 January).

However, fans are convinced his future remains on Merseyside after his ninth goal contribution in 23 matches in the second tier.
Ben Doak to stay at Liverpool long-term?
His stunning strike against the Baggies has left fans all saying the same thing about the former Celtic sensation.
One supporter labelled him “the Mo Salah regen” and called on the Reds to “keep him at all costs”.
Another asked why the club would sell Doak, when he is “the perfect replacement for Salah”.

The Scottish star has become a legitimate goal threat for Boro in his first season playing regular senior football.
He has notched three goals and six assists in a very profitable loan spell on Teeside and could secure a place in Arne Slot’s plans next season if he continues to impress.
He has already been handed six caps for his national team, notching his first goal contribution for his country with an assist in the 2-1 win over Poland on November 18.
It would be foolish if the Anfield outfit did not allow Doak the chance to earn a first-team spot after his exploits while out on loan.
In other Liverpool news, another academy gem could be set to leave the club with Championship interest emerging.
