Liverpool have now lost two games in a row after tasting defeat against Galatasaray in the Champions League.

Florian Wirtz came under fire again for Liverpool after another disappointing performance for the Reds, as Arne Slot will look to shake things up against Chelsea on Saturday.

Galatasaray were seen as one of the relatively easier sides to beat out of Liverpool's Champions League fixtures, as Slot now faces pressure to win the next games in the competition.

Arsenal trump Liverpool as favourites to win Champions League

At the start of the season, Liverpool were favourites to win the Champions League, but Arsenal have now leapfrogged the Reds.

As per Opta Analyst's updated supercomputer, Arsenal have an 18.09 per cent chance of lifting the famous trophy, while Liverpool's chances stand at 14.70 per cent.

PSG, Manchester City and Bayern Munich make up the top five favourites.

Arsenal also appear to again be the Reds' main competitors in the race for the Premier League this year.

Liverpool's game against Chelsea is their last one before the international break, as it is vital Slot's team get back to winning ways before the break.

After the break, Liverpool's season ramps up even more as the fixtures start to come thick and fast, as Slot will be hoping some of his injured players can make a swift recovery.
