Their most recent success in Europe’s elite competition was in the 2018-19 season under Jurgen Klopp when they defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the final.
They have also won three UEFA Cups, the most recent was in the 2000/01 season in a thrilling 5-4 comeback against Alaves.
The Reds have won four UEFA Super Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup to add to their European cabinet.
