Liverpool are the most successful club in the history of the English game.

Since they were founded in 1892, the Reds have emerged as a true global powerhouse of the beautiful game, domestically and in Europe.

Liverpool have won 69 major trophies in their history, ranking them at number one in the all-time honours list in English football.

Liverpool league titles

Liverpool have won the top-flight title on 20 occasions, level with arch-rivals Manchester United.

The Reds won the Premier League title for the first time since the rebrand in the 2019-20 campaign under Jurgen Klopp but could not celebrate properly due to the pandemic.

Arne Slot‘s side secured a win against Tottenham on 27 April 2025 to be crowned champions of England for the 20th time.

Liverpool European trophies

Liverpool are the most successful British club in Europe and have won the European Cup/Champions League six times.

Their most recent success in Europe’s elite competition was in the 2018-19 season under Jurgen Klopp when they defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the final.

They have also won three UEFA Cups, the most recent was in the 2000/01 season in a thrilling 5-4 comeback against Alaves.

The Reds have won four UEFA Super Cups and one FIFA Club World Cup to add to their European cabinet.

Liverpool FA Cup trophies

Liverpool have won the FA Cup eight times, with Bill Shankly winning it for the first time in 1965 against Leeds United.

Their most recent success in the competition was in the 2021/22 season under Klopp when they beat Chelsea in a penalty shootout.

Liverpool League Cup trophies

The Reds are the most successful team in the League Cup with a record 10 victories.

Their last win came in the 2023/24 campaign when Klopp won the competition with a team that featured numerous academy talents.
