Liverpool host Arsenal on Sunday in a match that was pegged as a title decider earlier in the season.

The Anfield clash on 11 May is now meaningless after the Reds secured the Premier League crown with four matches to spare.

Arne Slot made several changes for the 3-1 loss to Chelsea (4 May) and he may go down the same route as he gives fringe players the chance to impress.

Mikel Arteta's side are trying to restore some pride after their season was ended by a Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain (8 May).

Liverpool expected to beat Arsenal

The Anfield contest will give the hosts a chance to compound their title rivals' misery, with a guard of honour expected to be performed as a mark of respect.

In a new prediction from the Opta Supercomputer, the Reds have been handed a 46.1 per cent chance of victory.

Meanwhile, the Gunners have been given a 28.2 per cent chance and a draw is the least expected outcome at just 25.8 per cent.

Liverpool can set Arsenal marker with a win

The Reds may well be on the beach after securing the title early, it seemed that was the case at Stamford Bridge last time out.

However, Slot will be keen to put a marker down to the North Londoners, to show that his Reds side are a dominant force and will be right up there again next season.
