Alexander Isak’s chances of featuring vs Everton revealed as Liverpool plan in place
Liverpool fans are desperate to get a glimpse of Alexander Isak in action.
Liverpool signed Isak in a £125million deal on deadline day, after he had refused to play for Newcastle ever again.
Arne Slot is still waiting to have the Sweden international available for selection, but his debut could come this week against either Atletico Madrid or Everton.
Liverpool need a late Mohamed Salah penalty to overcome Burnley, and they need Isak to help open up resilient defences, like the next two visitors can boast.

Will Alexander Isak play for Liverpool this week?
Isak missed out for Liverpool’s win over Burnley, as the Reds are slowly building him back to full fitness.
Darke believes that Isak will feature against Atletico, but then miss out on the Merseyside derby due to his current fitness issues.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, he said: “As I understand it, he has not had much of a pre-season due to being on strike at Newcastle, so there is a problem with match sharpness with him.
“I think Slot has said he can play probably 45 minutes in the two upcoming games, but not in both of them. They’re going to ease him in; they are getting him up to match sharpness.
“I would think he might come on a sub against Atletico, or they may start him and take him off – they don’t want to get him injured, they don’t need to take that kind of risk, with the players that they have available.
“They will get him up to speed, in the next two or three weeks and after that he will be an almost automatic starter, I would think.
“I would say [David Moyes] would be quite grateful if he did not have to face a fully fit and effective Isak, but I think he has quite enough other problems to worry about in that game.”

Everton will be relieved if Alexander Isak misses out for Liverpool
Moyes would be relieved if he does not have to come up against Isak, as he is one of the deadliest strikers in the division.
However, as Darke claims, he still needs to be careful, as the Reds boast significant attacking reinforcements such as Mohamed Salah and Ekitike.
If Isak misses out though, Moyes and Co will be more confident of pulling off a rare result at Anfield.
