A supercomputer just predicted what’ll happen in Liverpool’s clash with Arsenal
Liverpool face their biggest test of the season so far on Sunday when they take on Arsenal.
Arne Slot’s side have been chaotic to start the new campaign as they look to retain the Premier League title in the Dutchman’s second season in charge.
Liverpool’s latest win against Newcastle was far from convincing, as the Reds were outplayed for the bulk of the game at St James’ Park before substitute Rio Ngumoha managed to snatch a late winner.
The Reds will need a better performance at Anfield as they face one of their title rivals, with a supercomputer predicting the result.

Liverpool predicted to pick up statement win over Arsenal
With the transfer window coming to a close within the coming days, Liverpool will likely come to a resolution regarding a potential move to Anfield for Alexander Isak.
However, given Hugo Ekitike’s fine form to start the season, there is no guarantee that the Swedish international just waltzes into the starting XI if he eventually signs for the Merseyside outfit.
If Ekitike can prove himself in a huge game like the one against Arsenal, then the Frenchman will have officially silenced all of the critics who were sceptical of his steep price tag.
If Liverpool were to win, as Opta‘s supercomputer predicts them too, you would assume Ekitike would have a large role to play in proceedings.
- Liverpool have been given a 41 per cent chance of beating Arsenal
- Arsenal go into the game as underdogs, with a 31 per cent chance of walking away with three points
- The chances of a draw are said to be around 26 per cent
With both sides being the only two remaining in the division with a 100 per cent win-rate, it will be interesting to see who gets the upper hand in the early stages of the title race.

New signings must step up against Arsenal
Whilst Ekitike has come in and immediately hit the ground running, the same cannot be said for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez.
Wirtz has yet to register a goal contribution and was fairly quiet against Newcastle, whilst Kerkez’s performances have been criticised by Ian Wright.
Kerkez, in particular, needs to improve, as the defensive vulnerability he has showcased so far will only be exploited even more against top-class opposition like Arsenal.
Liverpool have conceded twice in both of their Premier League games so far this season, and this will need to be sured up if they are to fulfil the supercomputer’s prediction.
