Liverpool vs Bournemouth: Weather forecast, ticket details and travel information

Liverpool begin their Premier League campaign against Bournemouth on Friday.

Arne Slot‘s side are looking to defend their title but return to Merseyside after losing the Community Shield to Crystal Palace on 10 August.

They host Andoni Iraola’s side on 13 August with the likes of Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, and Milos Kerkez set to make their league debuts for the Reds.

Anfield ticket information

General tickets for the contest are sold out, as supporters hope to see Mohamed Salah expand his incredible opening day record.

Limited hospitality tickets are available on Liverpool’s official website, but are priced at between £816 and £1,009, so it would be an expensive option for most fans.

All Red members were not guaranteed tickets during the sale.

Lovely weather expected for Liverpool vs Bournemouth

The weather forecast for Friday evening will be lovely viewing for Slot and his players.

The Anfield area of Merseyside is expected to be sunny with a less than five per cent chance of rain by the time the clash kicks off at 20:00 GMT.

The temperature is predicted to be 23 degrees, feels like 22 degrees, with a wind gust of 17mph, according to the Met Office‘s latest forecast.

Humidity will be around the 55 per cent mark, which will make the air quite stuffy for supporters.

Travel information

Public transport is the easiest way to get to the stadium, with multiple buses operating from the city centre that head towards the ground.

The Soccerbus operates two hours before each match from Sandhills train station, and there is a return service that runs for up to 75 minutes after the final whistle.

The 917 service runs from near Lime Street Station, and the return operates from Walton Lane and the 26 runs from Liverpool ONE bus station.

Sandhills and Kirkdale are the closest train stations, with around a 30-minute walk from either, which is signposted.

Parking is not available around Anfield, as it is in a residential neighbourhood with parking permits in place.
