Stan Collymore predicts Premier League table – Liverpool in top four, Man United miles off
Liverpool will look to retain the Premier League title in the 2025/26 season.
The Reds were crowned champions in Arne Slot‘s first campaign in English football, as the Dutchman took the top-flight by storm.
Fenway Sports Group have backed Slot with over £250million spent on the likes of Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
The question on everyone’s lips is whether they can keep their title, or whether the likes of Arsenal and Manchester City will come back stronger.

Collymore thinks Liverpool will win the Premier League again
Liverpool are the bookmakers’ favourite to win the division once again, but it may not be as easy as last time out.
However, former Anfield ace Stan Collymore believes that his old team will complete their mission again in the new campaign.
In a post via his personal X account (8 August), he shared his prediction that had the Reds at the top of the tree once again.
Liverpool fans will love Collymore’s prediction
It will be a very satisfying feeling for supporters to see their side at the top of many observers’ lists before the season starts.
It is a stark comparison to when Slot came in to replace Jurgen Klopp, as the Reds were predicted to struggle, with former Everton ace Leon Osman predicting that they would not even finish in the top four.
Instead of struggling, Slot adapted perfectly, and his tactical adjustments at Liverpool shocked the world and resulted in an unlikely success.
- Changed from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1
- A much calmer approach focused on control rather than chaos
Klopp left him a team that finished third, with some superstars like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, but they were not expected to challenge.
With the additions that they have made this summer, it is no surprise that they are the favourites to take their crown once again.
However, if Richard Hughes manages to pull off a deal for Alexander Isak from Newcastle, it will be even harder for their rivals to catch up.
The 25-year-old is arguably the most lethal striker in world football and would take Slot’s side to a completely new level and perhaps even make them the frontrunners for the Champions League too.
