Arne Slot to greenlight Endo exit as Liverpool can unleash ‘new Paul Pogba’
Arne Slot could add a fresh dynamic to his Liverpool squad this summer by moving on Wataru Endo.
The Japan international has only ever been a bit-part player since completing a move from Bundesliga side Stuttgart back in 2023.
This saw the 32-year-old make just one Premier League start last season, with an exit potentially set to make sense for all parties in the coming weeks.
If an exit route were to be mapped out, the Reds could have a perfect alternative already under their noses at Anfield.

If a positive fee could be received for the defensive midfielder, those funds could certainly be well distributed elsewhere in the squad.
With Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister, Slot already has huge amounts of quality at his disposal at the base of midfield.
If Endo were to depart, however, there would certainly be a need for other options in the squad to help maintain strength in depth on Merseyside.
This could see the Dutch head coach hand more chances to 18-year-old Trey Nyoni in the Premier League, Champions League and beyond next season.
The England under-20 international made five first-team appearances in red last campaign, something which could take a huge step up moving forward.
After breaking into the side, the Anfield faithful have compared the teenager to Pogba due to his frame and desire to get on the ball and make a difference.
This is not a comparison to be sniffed at, considering the France international has 13 major titles to his name, including the 2018 World Cup.
If the Slot could help Nyoni realise his potential in L4, there is every chance that he could hit similar heights to the former Manchester United star.

At 18, there is so much potential and growth lying ahead of the former Leicester City youngster for years to come.
By comparison, Endo is unlikely to get any better, but given how reliable he can be, his sale could prove to be a bold call for the Reds this summer.
