Guehi to welcome Liverpool move as ‘massive signing-on fee’ update emerges
Marc Guehi could soon agree a deal to join Liverpool from Crystal Palace.
The England international has been strongly linked with a Selhurst Park exit after lifting the FA Cup as captain at Wembley.
This has seen a move away from the Eagles come to the fore, moving deeper into the summer, with a link-up with Arne Slot potentially in the pipeline.
A deal could soon be agreed with the 24-year-old, who could be in line to demand a sizable fee to complete a switch to Anfield.

Guehi to delay Liverpool move for pay-off
There is no doubt that the ex-Chelsea man could prove to be an excellent signing if he could be convinced of a Merseyside switch.
This could become a necessary deal in L4 within the coming days after Jarell Quansah completed his move to Bayer Leverkusen.
There have also been exit links for Ibrahima Konate, two sales which would leave the Reds extremely light in the heart of defence.
As a result, a move for the Palace skipper would make complete sense, but there is bound to be high levels of competition for his signature.
With that being said, former Brentford manager Martin Allen believes Guehi could delay a move to Anfield to then complete a free transfer next summer.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, Allen said: “Liverpool have been looking to recruit the best players.
“Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen is a fantastic player. I saw him play for them against West Ham, and he was superb.
“I would imagine that Guehi would be interested in going to Liverpool as well.
“If I were Guehi, I would wait until the end of next season and become a free agent and walk in with a massive signing-on fee at Liverpool.
“I think that would be an excellent move for Liverpool with Virgil van Dijk not getting any younger.
“They do have to start looking more towards the future, even if he has got a few years left in him.“

Liverpool to land Guehi on free transfer
There is a general lack of top-class centre-back options who could prove to be within the price range of the Reds in the window.
Someone like William Saliba would represent a superb option, but it is highly unlikely that he would depart Arsenal for Anfield and would certainly command a sizable fee.
As a result, looking further down the Premier League at Guehi could prove to be wise, considering how excellent he has been in recent seasons.
Stat (Premier League 24/25) | Marc Guehi |
Appearances | 34 |
Goal involvements | 5 |
Tackles won | 34 |
Duels won | 168 |
It could prove to be a perfect option if Slot and Co. can hold out to land the Englishman on a free transfer and pay him a signing-on bonus as opposed to a sizable transfer fee to Palace.
