‘Liverpool to cancel Quansah sale’ after what he did away from Anfield
Jarell Quansah looks set to leave Liverpool this summer as Arne Slot overhauls his squad.
The Reds are set to make multiple eye-catching transfers throughout the transfer window.
To help finance this, Quansah is expected to leave Liverpool for Bayer Leverkusen.
The England defender came through the academy at the Anfield club and played multiple times last season.
However, Slot may now reconsider the 22-year-old’s sale.

Quansah shines for England Under-21s
With the Under 21s European Championship underway this summer, Liverpool have multiple players taking part.
The semi-finals were played on Wednesday (25 June), with England beating the Netherlands 2-1 to reach the final.
Quansah and Harvey Elliott starred throughout the match, with the latter netting both of the goals.

However, the defender was also heavily praised, with Harry Sherlock via GOAL (25 June) awarding the 22-year-old a 7/10 for his display.
He then wrote: “Never troubled. You can tell that he has been schooled at Anfield, in a Liverpool defence that rarely, if ever, loses composure.”
When examining his performances this summer, Liverpool must cancel Quansah’s sale.
The defender is showing multiple signs that he will turn into a top player and is ready to become a regular.
While Liverpool are set to possess a buy-back clause for Quansah, his composure throughout the tournament suggests he is ready to be Slot’s first-choice centre-back.
With Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk unlikely to stay at the Reds long-term, the defender should now be given a chance to become the new star of Liverpool’s defence.

Slot must look at Liverpool’s long-term future at the back
The future of Liverpool’s defence is a concern when considering the rumours surrounding the backline.
Konate has been linked to Real Madrid amid the ongoing saga regarding his contract.
On top of this, van Dijk is aging and might not be able to play at the top for much longer.
Therefore, Slot has to consider the long-term future of his centre-back pairing if Liverpool are to dominate the Premier League.
Hopefully, the manager has a plan this transfer window, and he looks to bring in potential reinforcements if Quansah’s departure is confirmed.
