Jarell Quansah takes major step closer to quitting Liverpool
Liverpool defender Jarell Quansah appears to be edging closer to the Anfield exit door.
The England Under-21 international had a breakout campaign under Jurgen Klopp, but was unable to replicate that in his sophomore year.
The 22-year-old saw little action at Anfield this season, making just four Premier League starts and 21 appearances overall.
It seems he will leave his boyhood club in search of first-team football, having been with Liverpool since the age of five.

Bundesliga club in ‘concrete talks’ for Quansah
Liverpool have already given the green light for the defender to leave Anfield this summer, and one of his suitors has been revealed.
Bayer Leverkusen appear keen on the Liverpool man and are already in contact with the club about his signature.
Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported that Quansah is high on the German outfit’s shortlist, who are now “seriously considering a move”.
He added that no agreement has yet been reached, but all parties are in talks to make the deal happen.
Quansah has previously been linked to a move to Everton; however, a transfer abroad seems more likely at this stage.
Liverpool are also close to the signing of Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen, although these two deals are not thought to be linked.
Jeremie Frimpong has already been signed from the Germans, with the two clubs being in constant talks throughout the window.
Liverpool ready to reshape squad for title defence
Arne Slot is not resting on his laurels as he looks to bolster the squad that won the league in his debut season.
Quansah is not the only player who looks to be on his way out, with a host of others ready for a departure.
Darwin Nunez is said to be considering an offer from Saudi Arabia, and Liverpool are keen to recoup the club record transfer fee they paid for him.
Harvey Elliott has also dropped hints that he could be ready to leave Anfield, with the midfielder available for £40 million.
Milos Kerkez is set to join Frimpong and Wirtz as incomings this summer, as the Premier League champions continue to reinforce.
