Liverpool ‘set to raise over quarter of a billion’ in huge Anfield player exodus

Liverpool are looking to offload around £315million worth of players in the transfer window to bring in new signings like Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.

Bayern Leverkusen values Wirtz at nearly £118million, while Eintracht Frankfurt tags Ekitike at about £84million.

The Premier League champions are also looking at Bournemouth left-back Milos Kirkez and Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande.

The Reds plan to sell several key players to raise funds for their transfer ambitions.

Who will Liverpool sell in the summer transfer window?

The Express reported that Darwin Nunez could be on his way out of Merseyside, after struggling to start for Arne Slot’s side.

The Uruguayan featured just eight times in the League this season. FSG will be looking to make up some of the £85million they spent on him, and he could leave for £60million.

Luis Diaz is a target of LaLiga winners Barcelona. The Colombian winger had 20 goal involvements in 36 Premiership games. He will command the highest price out of all the expected departures.

Liverpool will reportedly not block an exit from Harvey Elliot, who appeared to say goodbye to the fans with a post on Instagram. Brighton, Wolves, and Borussia Dortmund are pursuing the 22-year-old, who is valued at around £40million.

Bitter rivals Everton are in the running to sign Jarell Quansah. The L4 academy graduate has a price tag of £50million. Newly promoted Leeds are looking at signing Kostas Tsimikas for £15million.

Caoimhin Kelleher could be moving away from Merseyside to become a first-team keeper. West Ham are front-runners to land the Irishman for an estimated £20million, as Lukasz Fabianski is set to leave the Hammers.

Liverpool should do everything to land Wirtz and Ekitike

The young gem Wirtz has been a dream signing for big clubs such as Man City and Bayern Munich. However, the German is close to joining the Reds.

He dazzled on the biggest stage this season. The 22-year-old netted six goals and got one assist in seven Champions League games for Leverkusen.

Former PSG Frenchman Ekitke would solve the Kopites’ problems up top. He had by far his best season this year, with 23 goal involvements in 33 German League games.

They’ll be competing with several clubs looking to bolster their squad with these sensations. It will be costly to get the signatures of these Bundesliga stars.

Liverpool should do all they can to bring Wirtz and Ektike to Anfield to defend their title next year, even if that means selling several core players.
