Harvey Elliott to ‘walk into XI of Premier League rivals’ amid Liverpool exit news
Harvey Elliott could be set to leave Liverpool this summer.
The 22-year-old was once rated as one of the biggest talents in world football but his career has stagnated after Arne Slot was appointed on Merseyside.
The former Fulham academy graduate featured 28 times for the Reds but that does not tell the full story of a difficult campaign for the young midfielder.
He made just six starts as he struggled to impose himself on the Dutchman, with Dominik Szoboszlai ahead of him in the pecking order.

Elliott to secure move away from Liverpool
The Anfield outfit are set for a huge summer overhaul and Elliott could be on the chopping block after failing to convince Slot that he warrants a regular starting berth.
Reports emerged earlier this week that Liverpool would not stand in Elliott’s way if he decided to move on and a suitable approach arrived.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that the England Under-21 star will not be short of suitors and it may be the right time for a change.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, he said: “I think Harvey Elliott would walk into quite a few other teams in the Premier League.
“It is his misfortune in a way, that he is down the pecking order at Liverpool because they have such a talented squad.
“It may be in his case, if I was his agent, you might think it is the right time to move and become a starter at another club, maybe halfway down the Premier League.
“You and I both know that all those clubs in the middle of the table will have a serious look at him, particularly if the price was on the attractive side, he is a pretty proven Premier League performer, even though he has a bit-part role at Liverpool.”

Liverpool will regret letting Elliott leave
Elliott is still one of the most promising talents in English football, he just needs a consistent run of games to get his form back.
He struggled with injuries in the first half of the campaign and then failed to capitalise on his goal against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League with a starting claim.
However, he is far from finished at the top level, player development is not linear, if the Reds give up on Elliott, it would be a huge mistake, as he is more than capable of playing a significant role next season.
It could turn out to be a terrible decision if he goes on to star for another team in the top-flight and fulfils his potential elsewhere.
