Robertson has different options ahead of summer window

Robertson has been linked with a move away from the champions this summer.

The full-back has one year remaining on his contract and has hinted that his time at Liverpool may be coming to an end.

“We’re obviously going to have a busy summer, so we need to see where everyone stands. But it’s been a special time here – I’ve loved my time here,” Roberton said after speaking to Match of the Day.

“It’s been eight special years, and like I said, I’ll cherish every moment that I’ve played in front of these fans, especially at Anfield. Today was special.”

The betting markets suggest that Robertson’s most likely next move is to a Saudi Pro League club, priced at 7/2 with Paddy Power.

West Ham are listed at 17/2 to sign the Scottish full-back, while Scottish giants Celtic are priced at 6/1.

If Robertson decides to leave, a host of clubs will be lining up for his signature ahead of next season.

Key signings are needed for Liverpool side

With Robertson potentially departing and Trent Alexander-Arnold on his way to Madrid. Slot and the Liverpool board are exploring options for new full-backs.

Jeremie Frimpong is rumoured to be Liverpool’s first summer signing, as the club looks to secure a replacement for Alexander-Arnold on the right side of defence.

The Reds are reportedly interested in Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez as a potential replacement for Robertson at left-back.

These signings represent a promising start to Liverpool’s transfer window, with Bayern Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz also expected to join soon.

Fast recruitment and smart planning will be key to kick-starting Liverpool’s pre-season as they aim for glory next season.
