Liverpool fans rage at ‘horrific’ Alexander-Arnold announcement v Crystal Palace
Liverpool take on Crystal Palace in their final game of the season, and will lift the Premier League trophy at full time.
Arne Slot has named a strong side at Anfield on Sunday, with fans already in party mode.
Several players could appear for Liverpool for the final time, including Trent Alexander-Arnold, who has been named on the bench.
Alexander-Arnold is unpopular at Anfield, but could come on to make his final appearance for the Reds before his likely summer move to Real Madrid, and fans are now furious.

Liverpool fans slam Alexander-Arnold announcement
Federico Chiesa joined Liverpool last summer but has hardly featured since, and is expected to leave the Reds in the transfer window.
However, there will be no farewell appearance for the winger, as he was left out of the squad to face Crystal Palace.
With fans hoping Alexander-Arnold does not play a part, they have now slammed Slot’s decision to omit Chiesa from the squad instead of the right-back.
Chiesa will leave Liverpool
It appears certain that Chiesa will leave Liverpool, with the winger linked with a return to Italy, but fans are frustrated that he did not get another chance to play.
The attacker was hardly selected throughout the campaign, but he did fail to make much of an impact during his limited minutes.
Chiesa scored twice in 14 games across all competitions, including a consolation strike in the Carabao Cup final defeat against Newcastle, and will look back on his time at Anfield as a frustrating one.
Alexander-Arnold could receive another hostile reception if he does come on for his 354th and final appearance for Liverpool, and fans would have preferred to see Chiesa get a game instead.
The right-back was booed in his last game at Anfield as Liverpool drew with Arsenal, and has been criticised by Slot ahead of his departure, with his legendary time in Merseyside coming to a very bitter end.
It’s time to forget that and celebrate that Premier League title lift, hopefully after another win.
