Exclusive: Kostas Tsimikas ready to quit Liverpool as Leeds transfer news emerges
Kostas Tsimikas is facing an uncertain future at Liverpool.
The Greece international has featured 28 times in Arne Slot‘s debut season in English football, helping the Reds to the Premier League title.
However, the Liverpool star may decide to move on in the summer transfer window amid interest from newly-promoted Leeds United and three clubs in his homeland.

Tsimikas set for Liverpool exit
The Anfield outfit seems to be planning to bring in a first-choice left-back in the offseason, with concerns surrounding Andy Robertson’s performances.
However, Tsimikas has been unable to force his way into the starting line-up despite the Scotland captain’s apparent weaknesses, with a move for Milos Kerkez mooted.

David Lynch believes that the 29-year-old is more likely to leave than the former Hull man if the Reds choose to sign a new option in the position.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, the reliable Anfield journalist said: “It’s perhaps a little early to give guarantees around departures just yet because Liverpool are ultimately at the mercy of whether an acceptable offer arrives and you can’t always predict that.
“But it’s fair to assume that Kostas Tsimikas isn’t in the ‘not for sale’ camp of players going into this summer.
“It’s widely known now that they plan to add a left-back in the coming window, and something will have to give with both Tsimikas and Andy Robertson already on the books.
“Robertson appears keen to stick around and continue fighting for a place and so Tsimikas makes sense as the likely departure of the two.
“There was some interest in the Greek last summer that didn’t turn into anything concrete and so I’m sure he’ll have plenty of suitors.
“At the age of 29 and after five years at Liverpool, there is a feeling he will be ready to take his winners’ medals and move on to play more frequently elsewhere, too.”

Huge summer on the cards for Liverpool
Fenway Sports Group are set to back Slot in the market as he looks to revamp the squad that he inherited from Jurgen Klopp.
A move for Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong seems to be close to completion and they also hold interest in his teammate Florian Wirtz, although it remains to be seen if they act upon it.
It could be a transformational summer for the L4 outfit if they get it right and may leave them in pole position to defend their crown.
