Liverpool urged to cash in on Alexander-Arnold amid ‘ugly’ Anfield scenes
Trent Alexander-Arnold rocked Liverpool as he confirmed his exit at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old leaves Anfield after winning several trophies with his boyhood club, including the Premier League twice and a Champions League title.
His future is uncertain but it is widely expected that he will join Real Madrid on a free transfer after months of speculation.
The Spanish giants could even pay a fee so that the England star can link up with them early and play in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Liverpool should let Alexander-Arnold leave early
Arne Slot‘s side have yet to announce whether Alexander-Arnold will be allowed to depart before his contract expires on 30 June.
Ian Ladyman believes that they should allow it, writing in his column in the print edition of the Daily Mail (9 May, page 73) that an early departure may suit both parties.
He said: “If Real Madrid do offer money in order to release Trent Alexander-Arnold from his Liverpool contract so that he can play for the Spanish team in the Club World Cup then the Premier League champions should take it.
“This already feels like a story that could grow ugly if it is allowed to drag on, so an early farewell may suit everybody.”

Alexander-Arnold early exit would suit Liverpool fans
Some Reds supporters do not want Alexander-Arnold anywhere near the starting line-up in the three remaining matches.
Others do not even want him to be a part of the end-of-season parade around the city, where Slot and Co will show off the title.

Alexander-Arnold has left Liverpool fans reeling, some cannot fathom why one of their own would leave his boyhood club for a European rival, who have beaten them in two recent Champions League finals.
Jamie Carragher believes that winning as many trophies as you can with your local team should be the pinnacle of the sport and many agree with that viewpoint.
Reds fans have been sick of journalists and pundits telling them how they should feel about the matter but they would probably agree with Ladyman’s opinion in this case.
The sooner Alexander-Arnold exits, the better, for some, as he has tarnished his legacy and will never be held in the same regard as Steven Gerrard or Carragher, who he idolised when he was growing up.
It is a damning symptom of the modern game, players leaving their boyhood team, who are fighting for the biggest honours themselves, to play for Madrid, for wider fame and fortune.
