Liverpool could be tempted to sell Ben Doak as £20m update emerges
Ben Doak faces an uncertain future at Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Scotland international has enjoyed a sensational loan spell at Middlesbrough in the Championship, notching three goals and seven assists in 24 matches.
His form was encouraging before his season was ended through injury but he could be allowed to leave Anfield after a new development.

Doak set to leave Liverpool as notable offer mooted
Doak has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town after his emergence on Teeside this season.
A report from the print edition of the Sunday Mirror (4 May, page 63) claims that the Reds could allow Doak to leave if they receive a notable offer.
It states that he has a £20million valuation despite the L4 outfit believing that he has a big future ahead of him.

Liverpool could make tidy profit on Doak
It makes sense for both parties to move on, the Reds have Mohamed Salah and Federico Chiesa for the right wing, where the Scottish star likes to play, so it is unlikely that he would get significant playing time.
A move could allow Doak to continue his remarkable rise without the pressure of trying to force his way into Arne Slot‘s first-team plans.

He may want to stay and prove himself though, as there could be a spot available if Salah departs upon the expiry on his contract in two years time.
The Reds purchased the 19-year-old for a fee of approximately £600,000 from Celtic and could make a significant profit on him, which they could reinvest in the squad.
Slot is keen to revamp his squad as they attempt to defend their Premier League crown and Fenway Sports Group would no doubt sanction a big sale to help fund several new additions.
The Dutchman wants to bring in more attackers, with the likes of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota failing to impress and that could spell the end for the Scottish sensation.
A buy-back clause could be included into any potential deal to ensure that the Merseysiders can bring Doak back if he hits the heights that are expected of him.
