Viktor Gyokeres can seal Liverpool transfer now after ‘gentleman’s agreement’ – Exclusive
Liverpool will be in the market for a striker in the summer and Viktor Gyokeres could be the perfect solution.
The Reds look set to overhaul their attacking options as they try to defend their Premier League crown next season.
Fenway Sports Group are set to hand Arne Slot a considerable budget to revamp his squad after a remarkable first season on Merseyside.

Liverpool have easy path to Gyokeres deal
Liverpool’s chances of signing the Sporting CP star could be made easier after a new reveal from Portugal.
Sam Fonseca, a member of the All Things Alvalade podcast, exclusively revealed how much it would take to sign the 26-year-old to Liverpool News.
He said: “I actually think Gyökeres would be a great fit for Liverpool.
“He’s got that physical presence and work rate Slot likes in a forward, plus his ability to hold up play and bring others into the game would complement Liverpool’s front line really well.
“With Salah often carrying the goalscoring burden, having someone like Gyökeres who can chip in consistently and isn’t shy about taking shots could really help balance the attack.
“As for the cost, there is a reported ‘gentleman’s agreement’ in the €70-€80 million (£60m-£68m) range.”

Gyokeres would be a game-changing addition for Liverpool
If the Anfield outfit secured a deal for the former Brighton and Coventry ace, it would take them to another level.
The Sweden international has notched 52 goals and 12 assists in 48 matches this season across all competitions, proving that he is lethal in front of goal.

The 26-cap star would relieve the burden on Salah and perhaps even take the Egyptian’s creative numbers to another stratosphere as he is much more clinical than the likes of Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota, who have failed to impress Slot in his maiden campaign on English shores.
If the Merseysiders signed the Sporting ace, they would surely be the favourites to retain their title and to go all the way in the Champions League, given that they would have two of the most dangerous attackers in Europe at their disposal.
