Liverpool v West Ham United: Six players could now miss out at Anfield
Liverpool host West Ham United on Sunday in their latest Premier League fixture as the season begins to draw to a close.
The Reds are looking to get back to winning ways after their surprising 3-2 loss against Fulham at the weekend, which was only the second time they have been beaten all season in the Premier League.
Liverpool are looking to coast their way to the Premier League title, but Arsenal will be keeping them under pressure with the momentum coming from defeating Real Madrid on Tuesday, adding plenty of pressure to Arne Slot’s men.
Liverpool might boast an 11-point gap at the moment, but Slot will be keen to see his side get over the line sooner rather than later to wrap the campaign up.
That is something that could come at West Ham’s expense next weekend, but Graham Potter’s side are also looking for a positive result to pull them even further away from the relegation zone.
However, both managers will have to juggle injury problems within their respective squads, as the impact of the full season is starting to be felt.

Liverpool are without some big names
Slot is going to be without his first-choice right back as Trent Alexander-Arnold remains on the injured list, with his return not expected until the end of the month.
There are also doubts about Alisson Becker, who has missed both of Liverpool’s matches since the return from international duty.
Premier League table | Games Played | Wins | Goal Difference | Points |
1. Liverpool | 31 | 22 | +42 | 73 |
2. Arsenal | 31 | 17 | +30 | 62 |
The goalkeeper suffered a head injury while he was away for Brazil, and due to concussion protocol, he has been unable to play since.
The Reds will also continue to be missing Joe Gomez, who has had a torrid individual season due to injury, with various issues hampering his availability over the course of the season.

Potter will also be without several players
The Hammers also head into the game with some injury issues to deal with, stretching Potter’s options for this one.
Aaron Cresswell will be missing from this game for West Ham due to a calf injury, which is set to keep him out of action for at least a few weeks.
At the other end of the pitch, Crysencio Summerville is a doubt due to a hamstring injury, although he is expected to return in the near future.
Finally, Michail Antonio remains a long-term absentee for the Irons after suffering a serious car crash, which left him having keyhole surgery.
