Liverpool to make two changes for Fulham clash

Alisson is expected to return after he was forced to miss the Merseyside derby due to a concussion suffered on international duty with Brazil.

Curtis Jones impressed as a makeshift right-back against the Blues, making six recoveries and winning three of five duels that he contested [Fotmob] but he might be dropped in favour of Conor Bradley for the trip to West London.

Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate are predicted to retain their starting berths at the heart of defence despite winning just 12 of the 25 duels that they attempted against David Moyes’ side.

Konate and van Dijk struggled against Everton.

Andy Robertson is expected to continue on the left side of the backline after creating two chances, making 17 passes into the final third and winning all five ground duels for a 100 per cent success rate.

Ryan Gravenberch is predicted to continue at the base of midfield after he completed 89 per cent of his passes and made seven recoveries against the Goodison Park outfit.

Alexis Mac Allister is expected to be in contention despite James Tarkowski’s horror tackle, he made seven passes into the final third and won four of five ground duels for an 80 per cent completion rate against the Toffees.

Dominik Szoboszlai might continue in the number ten role, he created one chance and took one touch in the opposition box in a quiet performance by his usual standards but Slot does not seem to trust Harvey Elliott.

Jota to continue after Everton heroics

Slot is not expected to make any changes in attack, Mohamed Salah is expected to retain his place on the right wing despite not adding to his impressive record against the Blues.

The Egyptian took eight touches in the opposition box and made three passes into the final third as he tried to influence the clash.

Diogo Jota is predicted to continue to lead the line, he scored his first goal since the 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest (14 January) to win the contest.

The strike was reminiscent of peak Jota, as he twisted and turned past the Blues defenders before leaving Jordan Pickford dumbfounded with a clever finish.

Luis Diaz might continue on the left, he did not score but he was electric against the Toffees, creating six chances and taking nine touches in the opposition box.

Slot needs his attacking trio to be on top form once again as Fulham represent a tough test and are fighting for a European qualification spot under Marco Silva.

If the Reds can secure the victory, they will need just three wins and a draw to wrap up the league title.
