Liverpool to ‘test waters for phenomenal Harry Kane transfer’ already
Arne Slot could have plenty of work to do in the summer transfer window after the latest updates at Liverpool.
It has been reported that Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to leave Anfield at the end of the campaign and make the move to Real Madrid, once his contract expires.
Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are also out of contract at the end of the season, but it is not known what the future holds for either player yet.

Harry Kane is perfect transfer for Liverpool
With the amount of uncertainty over the future of certain players at Anfield, Slot may well have plenty of work to do to keep his squad at a strong level.
With that in mind, there is already pressure on the Dutchman to get his side performing at the same level next term and fighting for the Premier League title again.
The Merseyside outfit should have no trouble attracting top players, and Ally McCoist thinks Liverpool should be looking at the very highest standard, starting with Harry Kane.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (1 April 7:27 am), McCoist said: “If I was Liverpool, I’d test the water with Harry Kane. I think Harry Kane would score a phenomenal amount of goals in that Liverpool team, I really do.
“I mean, he’s not going to come back to Arsenal, we get that. He’s not going to come back to City because of Haaland. If he was going to come back to anybody, I could see him in a Liverpool jersey.”
Liverpool may need to rein in expectations
If Kane was searching for a new club in the summer transfer window, then, as McCoist says, out of all of the English clubs, Liverpool is probably the only place you could see him going.
However, it seems unlikely that anyone will tempt the striker to leave Bayern Munich, where he is settled, at the end of the campaign.

Supporters at Anfield could certainly dream of a world in which Salah extends his contract and Kane arrives to play in red as that would be a deadly attacking set-up in the Premier League.
That being said, Liverpool are seemingly keen on younger players, which may make them less keen on a striker who is 31-years-old.
If Salah can be retained and his contract is extended, the risk of taking on a more up and coming young forward definitely shouldn’t concern the Merseyside men who have plenty of talent in their side already.
Signing Kane would send shockwaves through the Premier League, what is the harm in trying?
