Liverpool v Everton injury latest as 10 players could miss out at Anfield
Liverpool and Everton could be without a combined 10 players for the upcoming Merseyside derby.
The two teams will meet at Anfield in the Premier League for the second Merseyside derby of the season on Wednesday (2 April).
Neither team was able to take bragging rights the last time they met in what was the final time the two would meet at Goodison Park, but it proved to be a thrilling fixture as they drew 2-2.
The reverse fixture resulted in both teams finishing with 10 men in a game that more than lived up to its billing, and fans will be expecting an equally fiercely contested match this time around.
Liverpool are aiming to go one step closer to winning the Premier League with this fixture, while Everton will go 10 games in a row unbeaten if they avoid defeat.

Liverpool are without several key players
Arne Slot will be without some of his first-team regulars for this particular match, with number one goalkeeper Alisson Becker a major question mark.
The shot-stopper was substituted for Brazil after suffering a suspected concussion, and while the player himself has stated he is doing fine, the protocol surrounding head injuries could lead to him missing out.

Ryan Gravenberch also suffered issues on international duty as he had to pull out of the Netherlands squad, meaning he is unlikely to feature against the Toffees.
There has been a lot of transfer talk about Trent Alexander-Arnold recently, but Liverpool fans will not be able to voice their feelings toward him on Wednesday (2 April) as he has an ankle problem.
Alexander-Arnold’s potential long-term replacement Conor Bradley is also unavailable because of a hamstring issue, which will stretch Slot’s defensive options, while Tyler Morton and Joe Gomez are also injured.

Everton also have injury issues
The injury bug has also bitten Everton at this point in the season, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin still sidelined as his disappointing 2024-25 campaign continues.
There are fitness concerns over Vitali Mykolenko as he suffered a thigh injury during the international break while away with Ukraine, which could now impact the Toffees.
David Moyes is also sweating on the fitness of Iliman Ndiaye and Dwight McNeil, with both men only returning to training on Friday (28 March), but it’s unclear if they will be fit enough to be thrown straight into a game of this magnitude.
