Anfield exit ‘to pave way for exciting Adam Wharton transfer at Liverpool’
Liverpool are strengthening their grip on the Premier League title in Arne Slot’s first season in charge of the Merseyside giants.
Predecessor Jurgen Klopp left Slot with an incredibly gifted squad of players to manage, and the Dutchman is set to guide the Reds to the title.
The new Liverpool boss has hardly made his mark on the squad in terms of personnel brought in, as his only addition so far was that of Italy international Federico Chiesa.
But this coming summer, Slot will have to reshape his Reds side amid the news that right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.

Endo could be set for Liverpool exit
Endo failed to have a significant impact at Anfield last term despite making 43 appearances across all competitions.
He has made just 14 Premier League outings since Slot arrived on Merseyside and has now been tracked by Fulham, Wolves and Ipswich.

The Japan international turns 33 next season, and he would not be massively missed by the Liverpool faithful if he does leave the Reds this summer.

Endo’s exit could help Liverpool land exciting Wharton deal
While a trio of Premier League Clubs are interested in signing Endo, the Reds have set their sights on Crystal Palace star Adam Wharton, but face competition from Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid [TBR Football, 28 March].
But amid such high-profile competition, Slot will have to make room in his squad to facilitate a move for Wharton.
Endo’s exit could pave the way for the Palace man to join up with Liverpool, and his services in midfield would be a significant upgrade on that of the 32-year-old.
Wharton is still only 21 years old and was still playing Championship football just last season, but many felt that he was unlucky not to have been included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad.
He has become one of the best deep-lying midfielders in the Premier League since joining Palace mid-way through last term and ran the show when Oliver Glasner’s men beat Fulham to advance to the FA Cup semi-finals on Saturday.
