But former Reds defender Warnock thinks that Alexander-Arnold could remain at Anfield, saying on Football Focus [29 March]: “I still think there’s an opportunity where he could stay.
“I think there’s still that element where he’s almost going, if you want me, you’re going to have to pay for me.”
Alexander-Arnold’s exit will leave Arne Slot with a big void to fill
Arne Slot is set to deliver the Premier League title in his first season in charge of the Merseyside club.

The defender’s exit would leave Slot with his toughest assignment yet, especially now that news has emerged that talisman Mo Salah seems more likely to stay with Liverpool.
Throughout his time with the Reds, local hero Alexander-Arnold has won an FA Cup, Premier League title, Champions League and two Carabao Cups, while his side are closing in on another league trophy.
The full-back is set to leave an incredible legacy behind, which Slot will find incredibly difficult to replace.
