Liverpool wonderkid ‘set for Arne Slot call’ after stunning England footage emerges
Liverpool youth star Rio Ngumoha could be fast-tracked into Arne Slot’s first team plans after impressing in England Under-17s’ win over Northern Ireland.
The Dutchman handed the former Chelsea gem his first senior Liverpool appearance in the 4-0 FA Cup third-round win over Accrington (11 January).
The 16-year-old was then named on the bench for the 1-0 loss to Plymouth in the next round but failed to get onto the pitch.
However, he may get another chance to impress in the near future after his exploits for Neil Ryan’s England U17 side.

Ngumoha shines in England youth rout
Ngumoha is very highly-rated at Liverpool but his stock may well rise even further after what he did in the latest victory for his country.
The Reds gem notched two goals and bagged an assist in a sensational display for England U17s that will only serve to increase the hype surrounding his future.
Both of his strikes were from his ability to drive down the left flank with two stunning finishes and footage has emerged of one of them.
Liverpool need to fast-track Ngumoha
The England U17 international moved to Anfield from Chelsea in a controversial switch, which caused significant friction between the two clubs.
The move was believed to be due to a better pathway to first-team football on Merseyside and that has already proven to be the case.

Arne Slot has shown that he is not afraid to put his faith in his youth talents when required, with Ngumoha making the most of his chance with a great performance against the League Two outfit that saw him outperform several senior players.
Given his immense talent level, the former Blues star needs to be fast-tracked into the first-team fold so that he does not decide to leave. The Reds cannot afford to lose him, he is a future superstar.
He could benefit from Slot’s frustration with his current attacking options with the likes of Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez potentially on the chopping block in the summer.
It was disappointing when he did not feature against the Pilgrims and if Slot’s side wrap up the league early, we may see more of the future star in the final few matches of the season.
