Liverpool should look to sign ‘fantastic’ £85m West Ham star – it’s not Bowen
Liverpool have a lot of work to do in the summer transfer window, with the futures of several key players unclear.
Arne Slot could oversee a complete overhaul of the attacking department, with a number of senior players potentially heading to the exit door.
Forwards Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez have underwhelmed this season and could be let go, and winger Luis Diaz has also struggled for his best form.
With Mohamed Salah’s future also uncertain, Liverpool may need to sign proven quality across the front line, and they could go shopping in the Premier League to aid this transition.

Liverpool should sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham
With Liverpool likely to need several attacking options, West Ham star Mohammed Kudus could be the perfect addition in the summer window.
Kudus can play across the entire front three, including the right wing, so whether Salah stays or goes, he would still arrive as a player for the starting XI.
The Ghanaian has a release clause of around £85m which will become active in the summer, but whilst this is a fairly steep price, Kudus would arrive as a player with a bright long-term future, and significant Premier League experience already under his belt.

Kudus’ speed, goal threat and versatility makes him the ideal option for Liverpool in what promises to be a chaotic transfer window, and the 24-year-old has been described as “fantastic” by West Ham manager Graham Potter.
Although Jarrod Bowen is the main man at West Ham, Kudus has proven effective either alongside him as a striker, or on the opposite wing to the England international.

Mohammed Kudus could be Liverpool’s new Diogo Jota
Although he underwhelmed this season, Jota proved to be a superb signing for Liverpool after unexpectedly joining from Wolves in 2020.
Kudus could be the natural replacement for the attacker, as an option who could play in multiple positions, arriving from a smaller Premier League club, with a proven goal threat which could further improve.
Slot will be familiar with Kudus from his days managing in the Eredivisie, and the former Ajax star is also well known to Liverpool assistant coach John Heitinga.
Heitinga had a brief spell as Ajax interim manager, and Kudus scored 12 goals in 23 games under the Dutchman.
Liverpool may target huge name signings such as Alexander Isak, but Kudus may be worth paying a premium for as they aim to rebuild their attack for next season.
