Liverpool fans blast ‘coward’ Alexander-Arnold after ‘unforgivable’ bombshell
Liverpool seem resigned to losing Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer.
The 26-year-old academy graduate is out of contract at the end of the season and there has been no indication of a renewal.
Links with Real Madrid refuse to go away and the latest bombshell update from Spain may spell disaster for the Reds.

Trent Alexander-Arnold set to leave Liverpool
The idea of Alexander-Arnold leaving Liverpool is unfathomable for many supporters but it may be a reality that they will have to accept.
Stats (Premier League) | Alexander-Arnold |
Played | 28 |
Assists | 6 |
Chances created | 51 |
Duels won | 90 (46.6%) |
A report from Sky Sports journalist Sacha Tavolieri (24 March) claims that the Reds star has reached an agreement with Madrid.
It states that the England ace has agreed on a £12.5million salary with a substantial signing-on fee with the Spanish giants.

Liverpool fans left reeling after Alexander-Arnold update
Losing Alexander-Arnold would be a major blow for Arne Slot‘s side both on and off the pitch.
The Three Lions star’s ability on the ball is unmatched and the Reds would struggle to impact what he offers their attack if he leaves for greener pastures.
If this news about Trent is to be believed, he’s handled this in the worst and most embarrassing way possible for a man who didn’t want all of this to be in the public…..

To know his worth and to leave on a free is quite frankly unforgivable

He’s a filthy rat just like his disgrace of a brother. All they wanted in their career was the bright lights, the money, and the prestige of the Bernabeu – even at the cost of being hated in his own city.

Hope he doesn’t play for us again.
simple as that. pic.twitter.com/q4FI2xHUKx

For the vice-captain of his boy hood club. It’s been shocking. Reflects really bad on him. Should be stripped of the captaincy

Completely silent & an embarrassment to himself, but you better believe he’ll be front & centre of the title celebrations, hope it’s not true but if it is he doesn’t play another minute for this club

Coward way of leaving you can’t lie

Snake could of left a hero but now he’s going like Rooney did

He would be a snake

That was always a line for him to play out the season without any abuse and then sneak away in the summer https://t.co/gGFocQqovc

That was evident in the Carabao Cup final loss against Newcastle as the L4 outfit struggled to create chances and lacked his ability to pick out pinpoint passes from deep.
However, from an emotional standpoint, it would be an even bigger blow as Alexander-Arnold has been at the Anfield club since the age of six, rising through the ranks to become a Premier League and Champions League winner.
If the Merseyside outfit lose a boyhood star, what kind of message does that send to supporters and rivals?
The allure of Madrid is obvious, with the fame and fortune and the increased chance to win the Ballon d’Or and enhance his legacy to a wider footballing audience but surely the chance to create a lasting legacy with his own club trumps that and an agreement can be reached.
Fenway Sports Group needs to come to a compromise with the local star, it would be a disaster if he is allowed to depart for free in terms of their reputation with supporters and the club’s prospects on the pitch.
