Arne Sot ‘to plan with Federico Chiesa at Liverpool’ after major development
Federico Chiesa hasn’t had the best of times since completing a transfer to Liverpool last summer from Juventus.
The Italian national has struggled for regular game time at the Reds, and the winger’s fitness issues haven’t helped his cause.
Chiesa scored at Wembley against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final, but his late goal was a mere consolation for the Merseyside outfit in the 2-1 loss.
Arne Slot should now trust the 27-year-old at Anfield and give him more opportunities until the end of the season.

Chiesa to become important player for Liverpool next season
Mohamed Salah’s current contract at Liverpool expires at the end of the season, and it doesn’t look like the Egyptian star will extend his stay.
The 32-year-old has been the Reds’ talisman this season, and they will definitely need to find a quality replacement for him in the coming months if things don’t change, which won’t be cheap.

Chiesa may provide a temporary solution for the Merseyside outfit to play on the right-wing at the start of next season.
While the Italy international has struggled in recent months, the forward’s performances at Juventus before his long-term injury caught many people’s attention.

Slot knows Chiesa happy at Anfield
Slot is on course to win the Premier League title in his debut season in charge of Liverpool.
Chiesa was the only incoming signing at Anfield this season, highlighting the scope of work the Dutch manager has done.
Despite the Italian national failing to get regular minutes, his father, Enrico, has admitted the forward is happy at the Merseyside outfit.
Speaking to Tuttosport via Fabrizio Romano on X (23 March), the 27-year-old’s father said: “I can guarantee that Federico’s very happy at Liverpool. We hope he can win the Premier League, we have no regrets about Juventus. He’s so happy at Liverpool.”
With this in mind, Slot can plan for the upcoming season with Chiesa in his mind.
Salah’s transfer from Roma in 2017 raised eyebrows, but he has gone on to become a legend at the Reds.
Ryan Gravenberch needed a season to settle in at Liverpool and has been one of their most essential players this season.
Chiesa has shown glimpses of his talent in Italy, and the Merseyside outfit should have faith in him to come good in the Premier League soon.
Slot may have a significant revamp on his hands next summer with Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Salah’s contracts running out.
The former Juventus winger could be one of the faces of the Dutch manager’s potentially new-look team in the upcoming campaign.
