Liverpool fans beg Arne Slot to use ‘insane’ talent next season – ‘Brilliant’

Liverpool supporters have urged Arne Slot to utilise an “insane” talent once he returns to Anfield next season.

The Reds are currently top of the Premier League with a 13-point margin to Arsenal and the Dutchman looks set to take the bragging rights in his first season in English football.

With the title potentially being wrapped up soon, the focus may turn to improving the squad for another title charge in the summer transfer window.

However, Slot could upgrade his midfield options with somebody who is already contracted to the Anfield outfit.

Stefan Bajcetic shining away from Liverpool

Stefan Bajcetic shone against Barcelona for Las Palmas despite a 2-0 defeat (22 February) and continued to impress with a 45-minute cameo against Real Valladolid (28 February).

His form in the Canary Islands has been a far cry from a miserable spell at RB Salzburg in the first half of the campaign, in which he started just eight games.

His latest display was as a makeshift centre-back after Scott McKenna was sent off, where he showcased an impressive passing range and made numerous defensive contributions as Los Amarillos salvaged a point.

Liverpool could save millions by utilising Bajcetic

The Reds will no doubt be in the market for another midfielder in the summer as Ryan Gravenberch needs somebody to take the burden off his shoulders.

Supporters of the L4 outfit believe that Bajcetic is the solution for Slot’s side after his latest displays for the La Liga side.

The Spanish maestro has endured a considerable amount of bad luck since making his breakthrough under Jurgen Klopp when he appeared 19 times for the senior side in the 2022/23 season.

The 20-year-old featured just three times in the next campaign with injuries wreaking havoc on his progress and his loan to Austria did not pay off.

If he can prove his fitness and keep on performing regularly for the Canary outfit, then Slot will have to take notice and give him a chance in pre-season.

Fenway Sports Group could save millions if Bajcetic can force his way into the Dutchman’s plans and revive his Liverpool career, and the fact that he has taken so well to another top league suggests that he can.
