‘Arne Slot has to sign Morgan Rogers’ after latest Aston Villa exploits

Liverpool should consider a summer move for Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers after his latest exploits.

Arne Slot is growing frustrated with the poor form of the majority of the attackers at his disposal with only Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo impressing this season.

Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota have all been linked with moves away from Anfield in the summer as the Dutchman looks to rebuild his attack despite his side leading the Premier League with 12 games left to play.

Liverpool should make Rogers move

After what he did in the 4-1 loss to Crystal Palace, the Merseyside outfit should be looking to Aston Villa ace Rodgers to solve their firepower issues.

The England ace scored an ingenious goal to level the tie and had another ruled out through VAR intervention but could not help as his side took a devastating loss.

It leaves the Villa Park outfit in a very vulnerable position with Champions League qualification unlikely and the L4 club should take advantage.

Rogers stunning breakout could force move from Aston Villa

The former West Brom academy graduate has enjoyed a spectacular campaign under Unai Emery starting 27 of the Villans 28 league matches, notching seven goals and four assists in the process, which is a very good return.

The 22-year-old has continued his impressive form in the Champions League after he scored a hat-trick in the final match of the league-phase against Celtic, showing that he can perform at the highest echelons of the game.

the two-cap Three Lions attacker has the potential to become one of the best attackers in the world if he continues on his current trajectory after a breathtaking rise to stardom.

With Villa sitting in 10th place and unlikely to secure a place in Europe’s premier competition for a second successive season, they may not be able to match his aspirations of playing at the highest level.

The Reds should test their and the player’s resolve in the summer as Slot looks to revamp his attack for his second season with his current options underwhelming despite the Reds’ lofty position at the moment.
