O’Hara slams what Cundy said about Liverpool – ‘Bang out of order’

Jamie O’Hara has hit back at Jason Cundy’s claims that Liverpool are “dull”.

The Reds are top of the Premier League and Champions League tables in Arne Slot’s first season at Anfield.

They took a huge step to securing the top spot in the revamped Champions League competition on 21 January with a 2-1 victory over Lille.

However, speaking on talkSPORT (21 January, 22:16), former Chelsea defender Cundy labelled the Reds as boring, saying: I just watch Liverpool, I think they’re dull to watch.”

However, O’Hara fired back, saying: “I think that is bang out of order, what is your problem with Liverpool, seriously?

“You watch Liverpool they’re top of the league, seven out of seven, and you’re still not happy, you can’t give them any credit.”

Liverpool supporters will not care

Reds supporters will not care whether their team is regarded as boring or not as long as they win major honours this season.

They are in pole position in both the league and Europe right now so there is plenty of optimism surrounding the way the club is performing on the pitch.

The Anfield outfit are six points clear at the summit of the top-flight and can secure top spot in the Champions League with a draw against PSV after the victory against the French side.

That would ensure an easier draw for the round of 16, which they have already directed qualified for and will play at home in the second leg and give them a more favourable route to the final.

So far, the Dutchman has enjoyed a remarkable maiden season in England, his side has lost just twice in 33 matches.

He could place himself in the history books on Merseyside in record time, he will not care about opinions on his team.
