Milos Kerkez has struggled since moving to Liverpool in the summer.

Kerkez signed from Bournemouth this summer for £40million as part of the Reds' summer overhaul of their squad, which saw over £400m spent.

However, Kerkez has struggled to adapt to Liverpool's style of play, which was highlighted during a 3-2 victory at Newcastle United, where the left-back was at fault for the Magpies' first goal.

Kerkez improved during Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Arsenal at Anfield, where he was able to contain Noni Madueke while almost setting up Federico Chiesa late on.

The Hungarian is away on international duty with his country, and Liverpool fans have reacted to his performance against the Republic of Ireland.

Milos Kerkez impresses as 10-man Hungary held to Dublin draw

Hungary were unable to secure all three points in their World Cup Qualifying opener, as they drew 2-2 to Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

Fellow Reds teammate Dominik Szoboszlai's assist for Roland Sallai looked to have set the Hungarians on their way to a comfortable victory, being 2-0 up after just 15 minutes.

However, Sallai's red card proved to be the turning point, as the Irish were able to regroup and equalised in the 93rd minute to share the points.

Kerkez, along with his teammates, was praised by the Hungarian media for their performance after the red card.

Liverpool fans are ready for Alexander Isak to finish off Milos Kerkez's crosses

During the 2-2 draw, Kerkez was able to show off his range of passing, which has been limited so far at Anfield.

The defender has been unable to get forward as much as he would at Bournemouth due to the attacking nature down the opposite flank.

Alexander Isak arrived at Liverpool from Newcastle on deadline day, and Reds fans believe that Kerkez will link up well with the Swedish superstar.

One fan on X said: "Bro, this is prime Robertson."

"Keep this guy running that left side and not as an LCB, please", another supporter said.

A third fan said: "One thing that shocked me about Kerkez is that I didn’t expect him to be so much tidier than Robertson in possession. Lovely footballer, still 21 too."

"Slot needs to let him get up top and release those crosses", a fourth added.

If Kerkez is given the license to roam further forward by Arne Slot, the Reds' attack will benefit massively, with or without Isak in the starting line-up.
