Liverpool's season is quickly beginning to fall apart.

The Reds have suffered their third consecutive defeat, falling 2-1 to Chelsea in a last-minute loss, marking the second league game in a row that Arne Slot's side has conceded in injury time.

Liverpool were terrible again, as they were in the 1-0 defeat to Galatasaray, and the defeat at Stamford Bridge was fully deserved, as the Reds' luck has firmly run out in calamitous fashion.

After winning seven from seven to start their season in excellent fashion, Slot has decisions to make ahead of the visit of Manchester United at Anfield, starting with a huge call in defence.

Milos Kerkez was dreadful again for Liverpool

Kerkez complicated an easy chance in the first half to equalise, while having trouble at the other end of the pitch was Estevao, who eventually scored the winner.

Slot, who has been under heavy criticism lately from supporters for his tactical set-up, hooked the Hungarian off after just 55 minutes for Andy Robertson.

The Reds did improve for the next 20 minutes, in which Cody Gakpo lashed the Reds level, but were then dominated again by a weakened Chelsea before Estevao's strike.

Arne Slot will be hoping Andy Robertson injury isn't too serious

Robertson was an improvement on the Hungarian when he came on, helping Liverpool push forward with more pace and power.

However, he still wasn't great, being at fault for the winning goal by allowing Estevao to sneak in at the back-post to score the winning goal.

Robertson was seen limping off after the final whistle, while also clutching his knees for the winner, which will be a massive worry for Slot.

If the Scot's injury is serious, then Joe Gomez may need to return to full-back, as Kerkez cannot be allowed to continue this rotten run of form at full-back if Liverpool want to win the league again in May.
