How to watch Galatasaray vs Liverpool in Champions League: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time

Liverpool take on Galatasaray as their quest for a seventh European Cup continues.

Liverpool suffered a setback in their mission to retain the Premier League title with a 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace, which was compounded by the fact that Arsenal came from behind to win 2-1 at Newcastle United the following day.

Arne Slot‘s side were poor at Selhurst Park, needing Alisson to pull off an insane performance to keep them in the game, and will be hoping for a much-improved display when they travel to Istanbul.

Galatasaray are hoping to kick-start their campaign after a 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday one, and have Victor Osimhen available after the Nigerian missed three games with an ankle injury.

Hugo Ekitike is expected to start, after serving his one-game domestic ban for his sending off against Southampton in the Carabao Cup.

How to watch Galatasaray vs Liverpool

Both sides qualified automatically for the league stage of the Champions League by winning their retrospective league titles, with Liverpool winning the Premier League at a canter last season.

The Reds are expected to go with a strong line-up for the daunting trip to the Turkish Capital, but Alexander Isak is set to be benched after playing 85 minutes in the loss to Palace.

Cody Gakpo could return to the starting line-up as well after he was benched for defeat in South London, but Federico Chiesa will play no involvement after not being named in the travelling squad.

The game against Galatasaray has been selected to be shown on Amazon Prime Video UK and is available to those with an Amazon Prime subscription, which costs £8.99 per month or £95 annually.

Liverpool’s record in Turkey is terrible, having won just once in their six attempts on Turkish soil, which came back in 2010 against Trabzonspor.

The Reds don’t possess a great record against Galatasaray either, with a 3-2 win at Anfield in September 2006 being the only occasion where the Merseysiders have come out on top.
