Liverpool slammed over ‘laughable’ Anfield announcement – ‘Wow’
Liverpool have made a great start to the new season as they look to defend their Premier League title.
Liverpool defeated Southampton 2-1 in the Carabao Cup to make it seven wins out of seven in all competitions so far this season, although Hugo Ekitike was sent off for taking his shirt off.
Arne Slot’s side have made an electric start to the season, opening up a five-point gap to the top of the Premier League ahead of Liverpool’s trip to face Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Life is largely looking rosy at Anfield, as many fans remain expectant that Liverpool will successfully defend their Premier League crown this season.
The Reds have now made a non-football announcement over their social media accounts, but the response has been less than stellar.

Liverpool announce more details for My Chemical Romance gig
The Reds have announced that the ticket sale for the My Chemical Romance concert at Anfield next summer is now open.
Liverpool confirmed that My Chemical Romance would be performing in Merseyside next June, as the club look to continue using Anfield for concerts and events like last summer with Dua Lipa and Taylor Swift.
Tickets are now on sale for season ticket holders and members that registered their interest in attending, with seated tickets selling out within the first hour of the sale.
Anfield is expected to be sold out for the event, which will generate funds to recoup the clubs losses after a monster transfer window, where Liverpool broke the British transfer record twice.
Liverpool fans confused by ticket sale tweet
Tickets for Liverpool games are one of the most sort-after items in the world, as fans want to get themselves to Anfield to see the Champions.
The Reds never publish their ticket information via their main social media accounts, with information communicated via their help desk account: Liverpool FC Help.
With the news of the ticket sale for the concert being published on the club’s main account, Liverpool fans are raging at the fact that they are being informed of ticket sales for other events outside of football.
One fan was quick to point out how the Merseysiders are quick to inform fans about concerts, but are happy to keep fans in the dark when it comes to football tickets.
Another called it “laughable”, while another simply said: “Wow”.
Elsewhere, the sale has caused issues for disabled supporters, who are struggling to obtain a clear signal when trying to contact the ticket office to purchase tickets for the event.
The Reds’ ticket office has been under scrutiny from supporters for some time now due to the complexity of the ticketing process, although they have made efforts to streamline it over the summer.
With the Reds looking to dominate English and European football over the next few seasons, the club must sort these problems with ticketing out quickly.
