Roy Keane jokes about Jamie Carragher mind games after what he said ahead of Liverpool game vs Crystal Palace
Roy Keane teased Jamie Carragher over his perceived mind games prior to Liverpool’s Premier League contest with Crystal Palace this weekend.
Liverpool are seeking to extend their 100 per cent record this season in their clash against Palace at Selhurst Park on 27 September.
Liverpool top the Premier League through five games and already hold a convincing five-point lead, with Arsenal, Tottenham and Bournemouth all on 10 points.
Arne Slot‘s men will now be looking to extend their impressive record in the top flight when they visit the capital this weekend.

Keane thought Carragher was playing it safe with match predictions
Speaking on Stick to Football, Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher were making their Super 6 predictions against the team of Roy Keane, Jill Scott and Ian Wright.
While team Keane said Liverpool will win 2-1, Carragher and Neville thought the Reds will play out a 1-1 draw against Palace.
In reaction to this, the former Manchester United midfielder said to Carragher: “He’s playing mind games so then if Liverpool win he will be happy.”
In response, the Liverpool legend winked at the camera and laughed.
With the exception of their opponents, Palace are the only team to go unbeaten in their first five games of the Premier League season.

Glasner’s Palace will not be a walk in the park
Liverpool lost to Crystal Palace on penalties in the Community Shield, so need not look back too far for the kind of test that could await them at Selhurst Park.
Oliver Glasner has built a team that knows how to grind out wins and draws, and he will be welcoming the Merseysiders with a set game plan to frustrate Liverpool and punish any mistakes that fall their way.

But Slot’s men have been excellent at finding a way to this season, and already look imposing challengers for the title. It promises to be a tricky contest but one that Liverpool can certainly emerge victorious from.
Hugo Ekitike’s needless suspension for Liverpool is a blow but it might give Alexander Isak the opportunity to shine for Slot.
