Arne Slot will be worried after new Liverpool reveal ahead of Crystal Palace clash
Liverpool will be hoping to extend their perfect Premier League record against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Arne Slot‘s side visit the Eagles with both sides heading into the contest on 27 September in great form.
Alexander Isak is likely to start, after Hugo Ekitike was sent off in Liverpool’s 2-1 win over Southampton in the Carabao Cup.
However, Slot’s side will not be too confident after a new reveal emerged.

Liverpool’s record against unbeaten teams will worry Arne Slot
Liverpool are top of the Premier League table, despite their unconvincing performances this season, but Palace are not easy opposition, especially given their impressive recent form.
The Selhurst Park outfit are on a 17-match unbeaten run in all competitions and sit fifth in the league, having not lost since the 5-0 defeat against Newcastle in April.
The Reds have won just one of their last nine matches against teams on a 17+ unbeaten run, drawing six and losing two in the process, as per Opta’s Michael Reid.
Arne Slot needs his Liverpool team to step up
The Reds looked to have turned a corner against Everton last weekend, with an excellent performance in the opening 30 minutes.
However, the remainder of that contest descended into the usual chaos that has hampered the L4 outfit’s start to the campaign.
- Liverpool relied on late winners in their first four league matches
- Against the Toffees, an early two-goal lead was enough to see them through
- The clash with Palace will be a difficult encounter
- The Reds have already lost to Palace this season, on penalties, in the Community Shield
Slot’s side looked vulnerable defensively, and were lucky to not concede an equaliser against their local rivals.
Given Oliver Glasner’s team’s unbelievable recent record, the champions need to be on top form in the contest, otherwise, they could lose their 100 per cent record.
The likes of Isak and Mohamed Salah need to step up, and ensure that the Reds come away with all three points, or the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal will have faith that they can catch up.
