How to watch Liverpool vs Southampton: TV channel, live stream, kick-off time
Liverpool look to continue their impressive start to the season on Tuesday night against Southampton in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
Arne Slot‘s men have won all five of their opening Premier League games, with Liverpool also beating Atletico Madrid in their inaugural Champions League match.
Liverpool have been tipped as early favourites to win the Premier League this season, as Tuesday night’s game against Southampton will give Slot an important chance to rotate.
Early reports suggest Liverpool will field Rio Ngumoha in the starting lineup for the first time this season, as the game comes as a big opportunity for fringe players to make a statement.

How to watch Liverpool vs Southampton
The match is a Carabao Cup third-round game, with Southampton having already fought their way through the first two rounds.
The game will be a big chance for youngsters like Ngumoha to shine, but also for the likes of Federico Chiesa as he looks to ignite his Liverpool career this season.
Florian Wirtz was axed from the Liverpool line-up against Everton for the Merseyside derby, meaning he could start against The Saints and potentially score his first goal for the club.
The game will be available to watch live on television through Sky Sports Main Event and ITV1, with the game available to stream on ITVX. Total commentary is available on BBC Radio Merseyside.

Liverpool vs Southampton kick-off time
Liverpool have not been beaten at Anfield by Southampton since 2017, when the Saints ran out 1-0 victors in the now named Carabao Cup Semi-final.
Southampton were relegated to the Championship last season, and are winless in their last three in the league.
- 2-2 draw vs Watford
- 0-0 draw vs Portsmouth
- 3-1 loss vs Hull City
Liverpool are unsurprisingly a heavy favourite to win the match and extend their winning start to seven in a row.
