Mohamed Salah’s Premier League dominance

Salah was a level above everyone else in the Premier League last season, and his complete dominance over the individual awards proves this.

The Liverpool star had a clean sweep of all the individual awards after winning the Premier League title, and having equalled the record for the most goals and assists in a single campaign, it is hard to remember a player dominating the league like Salah did.

The picture below of Salah posing with his awards tell the whole story, and he deserves the Ballon d’Or alongside these.

Mohamed Salah’s relentless run

Salah was consistently brilliant last season, and one particular run of games will live long in the memory as one of the highest peaks ever seen from a Liverpool player.

Between October 20 and January 5, Salah played in 12 Premier League games, and remarkably, provided at least a goal or an assist in every single one.

Starting with a goal and an assist against Chelsea, and finishing with a goal against Man United, Salah provided 23 goals and assists in these 12 games, a truly ridiculous record unmatched by anyone else in Europe.

Big moments were made for Mohamed Salah

Liverpool’s Premier League title victory was fairly straightforward thanks to Salah’s brilliance, but he also stepped up in the biggest games to make his mark against the best teams.

A remarkable 6-3 victory away at Tottenham saw Salah provide two goals and two assists, and he followed this up with a goal in the 5-1 win which confirmed Liverpool as champions in the reverse fixture.

Salah also equalised late on away at Arsenal, while scoring against every single ‘big six’ side in the Premier League.

In these 10 games against the supposedly best teams in the league, Salah provided 16 goals and assists, with four of them coming against Manchester City, showing that he was indeed truly unstoppable.
