Liverpool journalist sends Newcastle fans brutal message as Alexander Isak footage goes viral
Newcastle United fans still harbour hard feelings about the circumstances surrounding Alexander Isak’s move to Liverpool.
Liverpool signed Isak on transfer deadline day, after finally agreeing a deal worth a Premier League record £125million with the Magpies.
The striker had enjoyed a superb season for Eddie Howe’s team, but demanded an exit in the summer after claiming that Newcastle had promised him as much.
Isak made his debut for Liverpool on Wednesday, as the Reds left it late to begin their Champions League campaign with victory over Atletico Madrid.
But Slot chose to leave Isak on the bench against Everton, instead favouring Hugo Ekitike, who scored what would ultimately prove to be the winner.

Newcastle United fans told to ‘move on’
Newcastle fan Alan Shearer refused to say Isak’s name on a recent podcast, demonstrating how angry the Magpies are with their former player.
And to some extent, it is hard to blame them. The striker embedded himself in the culture of the city, and made himself a Newcastle hero when he scored the goal that won them their first major trophy since 1969.
When the summer arrived, however, Isak made his intentions clear by refusing to join Howe’s squad on their pre-season tour and choosing to train alone once they had returned.

Newcastle attempted to salvage the relationship, but the Swede had already made his mind up – and was not going to change it.
Unless for a cup draw later in the season, Liverpool have already played their game at St James’ Park this season, so Newcastle fans have been forced to use social media to voice their frustrations.
Many responded when Liverpool journalist Lewis Steele posted a video of Isak training alone on Saturday, with one commenting: “He’s used to training alone these days.”
Steele responded emphatically, writing: “I mean it in the nicest way possible, lads, just move on. He’s gone.”

Alexander Isak will have to wait until January for Newcastle clash
Whilst Liverpool have already made the trip to Newcastle United, there is still the fixture to take place at Anfield in January.
There, the Reds will have the majority to back their new number nine, and Isak can shut his former club up for good.
And even better, the Swede can prove he was right to fight for his move by lifting the Premier League in May.
