Liverpool vs Everton preview: Team news, likely lineups, scoreline prediction
Liverpool could continue their 100 per cent start to the season against Everton on Saturday.
Liverpool have won their first four Premier League matches, the perfect start to their title defence in Arne Slot’s second season in charge.
David Moyes has an abysmal record when facing Liverpool at Anfield, failing to record a victory in his 23 years in management.
He will be hoping to change that when the sides meet on 20 September, but the Reds will be a difficult team to overcome, as they have the mentality to fight back from anything.

Team news
Slot may stick with the same backline that started against Atletico, but Conor Bradley could replace Jeremie Frimpong at right-back.
Alexis Mac Allister could return in midfield for Liverpool, with Dominik Szoboszlai back in the number 10 role, and Florian Wirtz shifted to the left wing, in place of Cody Gakpo.
Alexander Isak could start after Slot said he was surprised by his fitness levels after the Atletico game, and Curtis Jones and Stefan Bajcetic are expected to miss the contest.
Meanwhile, for the visitors, Jarrad Branthwaite could return to the squad after missing the start of the campaign, while Vitalii Mykolenko was not spotted in training pictures but could still feature.
That duo could return to the starting lineup if they are deemed fit, with Moyes choosing to stick with pretty much the same side that drew 0-0 with Aston Villa last time out.
Predicted lineups
Liverpool: Alisson; Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Wirtz, Salah, Isak
Everton: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Beto

Prediction: Liverpool 2-1 Everton
Liverpool may have relied on late winners, but they have shown that they can score a lot of goals.
Everton have certainly improved, but they have not faced a team with the Reds’ quality so far, and that could be telling when the sides meet.
Given Moyes’ abysmal record at Anfield, the Reds are expected to come out on top in the contest, albeit by a narrow margin.
