Liverpool fans blown away by latest FSG financial commitment as announcement made
Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group have not always been popular with the fanbase, but that has now significantly changed.
Several high-profile players have arrived in an unprecedented summer of spending, as Liverpool enjoyed their biggest transfer window ever.
FSG have gone all in on Arne Slot’s project, sanctioning record moves for Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz among others, and they are aiming to build a dynasty at Liverpool.
Even beyond the first team, FSG are looking to breed long-term success at Liverpool, and fans are now taking notice of their fine work.

FSG invest £20m into Liverpool academy
FSG have announced that they’ll invest £20million into the redevelopment of Liverpool’s youth training base at Kirkby.
- This will see a new grass pitch installed with seating for 500 spectators.
- A new full-size indoor pitch will be installed.
- New developments have already been implemented, with sports cages designed for smaller-sided matches recently installed.
This commitment is set to revolutionise Liverpool’s academy to keep producing top-class talent for the future, and the Liverpool owners are now being praised by the fans for this incredible investment.
“When FSG leave, Whether it’s in 2 years or 20 years time they’ll leave some legacy behind. Done everything they promised & more,” one fan posted on X.
“After Klopp, FSG are the best thing to happen to us in my lifetime,” another claimed.
FSG completely turn their image around
FSG have faced a lot of criticism over the years, with Jurgen Klopp often hamstrung in his ability to spend compared to the backing Slot has received.
There were protests over ticket prices and against the European Super League in years gone by, and many Liverpool fans were unhappy with the ownership.
Now, with the spending over the summer, as well as the long-term planning for the future, FSG have a very different image at Liverpool, and it can even be argued that they are the best owners in the Premier League.
Liverpool have been superbly run for the last few years, with signings, sales, contract and off-pitch development all at a world-class level, and the potential is there to win back-to-back Premier League titles for the first time.
