How Brazil’s media honestly rated Liverpool star Alisson after ‘beautiful’ moment
Alisson is rightfully regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Alisson has starred for Liverpool since joining from Roma in 2018, winning two Premier League titles and a Champions League.
Arne Slot will rely on the Brazilian to step up and help his side retain their domestic crown this season, although he may be concerned that Alisson’s Liverpool contract ends in 2027.
The Dutchman will be confident after Alisson‘s latest showing on international duty, away from Anfield.

Brazil media rave over Alisson showing away from Liverpool
Alisson is Liverpool’s undisputed number one, and it appears that he has the Brazil spot locked up after his latest display for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
The Reds ace kept a clean sheet and made an impressive save from Paulo Díaz in a 3-0 win over Chile, although the flag went up for offside afterwards.
Brazilian outlet Globo gave him a six out of 10 rating, saying: “He only didn’t go unnoticed in the game because he made a beautiful save from a point-blank header at the end of the first half, but Chilean Paulo Díaz was offside.”
UoL praised the stopper for the save, which ultimately meant nothing, saying: “Alisson! In the 52nd minute, Brereton Díaz took a free kick into the box, Paulo Díaz headed it powerfully towards the near post, and Alisson made a brilliant reflex save. The strike was disallowed for offside.”

Alisson is not leaving anytime soon
Unfortunately for Giorgi Mamardashvili, Alisson is not leaving the Reds anytime soon, especially if he maintains the form which has seen him labelled as the best keeper in the world.
He had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, but that does not seem like a possibility whilst he is still at the peak of his powers.
- Alisson has started all four of the Reds’ matches this season
- Kept one clean sheet in those games
- Made 35 appearances last season in all competitions, keeping 13 clean sheets
The fact that he is still starring at the elite level in club football and with his country suggests that he is nowhere near finished at the top level.
That will be music to the ears of Slot and Reds supporters, but maybe not for the Georgian, who is waiting in the wings to take over the number one spot eventually when the time comes.
It makes sense to have a top-quality successor lined up, but how long will Mamardashvili be willing to wait for his opportunity?
Only time will tell.
