Liverpool fans all disagree as new Alexander Isak claim made
Liverpool completed the signing of Alexander Isak on deadline day.
Liverpool eventually met Newcastle’s demands with a £125million bid as the transfer window was edging towards its conclusion.
Isak made his position clear as he was desperate to join Liverpool, going on strike and refusing to play for the Magpies.
He got his wish and moved to Anfield, but he may not go straight into Liverpool’s starting XI for the Burnley clash after the international break.

New Alexander Isak claim made at Liverpool
Isak is guaranteed to score goals for Liverpool, but the nature in which he will do that will vary; he can score with his feet, his head, or from the penalty spot, but a new possibility has been raised.
- Isak has scored 21 goals with his left foot
- He has notched 68 goals with his right foot
- He has scored 12 with his head
- 19 of his goals have came from the penalty spot, two from free-kicks
Sam McGuire, who has featured on Fotmob and Sporting Life, speculated whether Isak could become the free-kick taker for the Reds.
He posted a video of a free-kick that the Sweden star scored for Real Sociedad against Atletico Madrid in 2021, saying: “Isak can take free kicks?”
Liverpool fans want Dominik Szoboszlai to continue taking free kicks
Dominik Szoboszlai scored a stunning free-kick in Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Arsenal.
The Hungary star took the ball from 34 years out and blasted an effort off the post, beating David Raya with ease to seal victory for his side in the 83rd minute of the contest.
Reds supporters have not reacted well to the idea that Isak could come in and take over from the former RB Leipzig man in dead-ball situations.
It was a truly beautiful effort, and it is unlikely that he will be giving up his free-kick duties anytime soon after his recent exploits.
He was stuck behind Trent Alexander-Arnold in the pecking order, but he is now at Real Madrid, and Szoboszlai will be the number one name on the list at the moment and will not let Isak take that away despite the fanfare over his signature.
