Joe Gomez is keen on Liverpool exit
Gomez has been heavily linked with a Liverpool exit as the transfer window has headed towards a conclusion.
Daily Mail reporter Lewis Steele claimed on 31 August that AC Milan believe that they can strike a deal of £13million for the Reds defender.
He stated that sources in Italy believe that the 28-year-old is keen to join the San Siro outfit.

Liverpool cannot let Joe Gomez leave
While he is below the likes of Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk in the pecking order under Arne Slot, Gomez could still play a valuable part for the Reds this season.
The former England star was immense when he came on in the 1-0 win over Arsenal, making more clearances than any other Liverpool player with seven, and winning more aerial duels, with all three being successful.
Gomez struggled with two hamstring injuries last season, featuring just nine times in the Premier League for a total of 526 minutes.

Konate has not started Liverpool’s season well, which could leave an opening in the first-team, but that may be filled by Guehi and Gomez may feel that he will not have a chance of getting into the squad.
He would be a huge loss for the Anfield outfit, as he is currently their longest-serving player after signing from Charlton Athletic in 2015.
