Alexander Isak leaves AXA Training Centre, Liverpool medical incomplete as clock ticks to deadline
Alexander Isak is edging closer to securing a move to Liverpool.
Liverpool and Newcastle United agreed on a £125million fee for Isak, over a month after the striker went on strike at the Magpies to try and force the move.
Isak’s move is the most highly anticipated move of the summer, with a potential super team on the cards should the Swede complete his move in time.
Isak has travelled to Liverpool to complete his medical ahead of the move and has now departed the AXA Training Ground.

Alexander Isak continuing Liverpool medical off-site
The medical for Isak is currently incomplete, despite the striker leaving the training ground, according to Sky Sports.
However, this is standard procedure at Liverpool as the second part of the medical is to be completed at a local hospital due to not having the necessary equipment to complete it at the training ground.
Isak’s move is still set to go through in time before the 7pm deadline on Monday night, with fans are waiting eagerly for the official club announcement of what will be a British-record fee.
Newcastle have sourced Isak’s replacement, with Yoane Wissa set to seal his £55m deal from Brentford on deadline day.
Excitement is growing for Liverpool fans as announcement is imminent
All love towards Isak from the Newcastle fanbase has officially evaporated now that the deal is set to go through, with Liverpool fans ready to welcome the Swedish superstar with open arms.
The striker is a superstar in the Premier League, finishing runner-up in the Golden Boot race to future teammate Mohamed Salah, and is ready to take his game to another level in what is set to be a world-class frontline, which also includes new signings Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike.

Reds fans are right to be ecstatic at this blockbuster deal despite the Swede’s actions this summer, and the move will make Liverpool massive favourites to win the Premier League again.
