Liverpool crumble under pressure as Jurgen Klopp signing leaves in less-than-ideal circumstances
Liverpool have begun to struggle after a largely positive transfer window.
Big-money signings at Liverpool like Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike have already been made, but the spending may not be done quite yet at Anfield.
This comes as Liverpool continues their interest in Alexander Isak at Newcastle as Arne Slot looks to end the summer with a bang.
Liverpool must break the Premier League transfer record for Isak, and with that being said, funds to push through a deal for the Sweden international may prove to be lacking based on the latest transfer activity.
This comes as a former favourite of Jurgen Klopp continues to be linked with a move, a departure which may not benefit the Reds as they would have hoped.

Kostas Tsimikas edging towards Liverpool exit
Liverpool have brought in Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth to join Andy Robertson, so it did always feel likely that Tsimikas would leave this summer.
A potential exit looks set to go down to the wire for Tsimikas with just days remaining until the transfer window slams shut at 7pm on 1 September.
Now it appears that a move away from Merseyside is firmly in the pipeline, but it doesn’t look likely to truly benefit the L4 club as they would have hoped.
This has seen Corriere dello Sport report on 30 August that Tsimikas is moving closer to a move from Liverpool to Roma, after he pushed for a move away.
The Reds were keen to land a fee in the region of £13million for the Greece international, but it now looks likely that the deal will be a straight loan without an option to buy.
It appears that Slot’s side have crumbled and allowed this loan to go through as opposed to pushing for a more financially beneficial move, but it is now too late in the window for that.

Jurgen Klopp was delighted to sign Kostas Tsimikas
It is fair to say that the signing of the Olympiakos left-back came as a surprise to many as an alternative to Robertson in 2020.
Since then, the defender has never been a regular starter, but after becoming known as the “Greek scouser”, he achieved cult status on Merseyside.

This ultimately proved Klopp right in his joy at having brought Tsimikas to Anfield, having spoken via the official Liverpool website in August 2020.
He said: “We have watched Kostas for a long time and are really happy that he has joined us.
“He is a very good footballer with an attitude to win and to compete, and I really like his mentality. It fits perfectly with the mood and the desire we have in our dressing room already.”
It is fair to say that the 29-year-old fit in perfectly around Melwood, but it is still hugely frustrating that upon his exit, it doesn’t look as if a fee is coming in just yet.
